KE Duplicate Bill: View and Download Your K-Electric Bill
A KE duplicate bill is a fresh copy of your K-Electric bill, and the quickest way to get one is the duplicate bill form on the official K-Electric website, using the 13-digit account number printed on your bill. You can also download it in the KE Live app or on KE WhatsApp at 0348-0000118. K-Electric runs its own billing system, so the PITC bill pages used by LESCO, PESCO and the other companies do not show Karachi bills.

K-Electric duplicate bill on the official website
- Open the Digital Bills and Payments page on ke.com.pk and tap the link to view and pay your bill.
- The form opens on KE’s own address, staging.ke.com.pk:24555/ReBrand/DuplicateBill.aspx. Check that the site name in the address bar is staging.ke.com.pk before typing anything.
- Enter your 13-digit account number. This is the only box marked as required.
- The form also has boxes for the 8-digit consumer number, your email address and your mobile number. Add an email address if you want KE to send the bill to your inbox.
- Type the characters shown in the image (the captcha). Use “Refresh Captcha” if you cannot read them.
- Press “View Bill”. When the bill opens, print it or save it from your browser.
Where the account number is on your KE bill
The account number is a 13-digit number printed at the top right of every KE bill. Every KE service asks for it.
Type all 13 digits, including any zero at the start.
The bill also shows a consumer number and a contract number. KE says these are mainly for its internal use, so do not put them in the account number box.
KE duplicate bill in the KE Live app
KE Live is the company’s official app, and it also works in a browser at live.ke.com.pk.
- Install KE Live from Google Play or the App Store.
- Sign up with your name, email address, mobile number and CNIC (national identity card number), and set a password of at least eight letters and numbers.
- Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS. It is valid for 15 minutes.
- Add your 13-digit account number when the app asks for it.
- Open the main menu and choose the duplicate bill option to download your K-Electric duplicate bill.
The app offers duplicate bills for the last six months. Never share your OTP, PIN or password with anyone, including a caller who claims to be from KE.
K-Electric bill check on WhatsApp and SMS
WhatsApp: save 0348-0000118 and send “HI”. If your mobile number is already linked to your KE account, your account numbers appear; otherwise the chat asks for your account number. From the menu you can get a duplicate bill, download bills of the last six months, check power status and lodge a billing complaint. KE also lets you sign up for an e-bill through this number.
SMS 8119: for a quick K-Electric bill check, send BILL followed by a space and your 13-digit account number to 8119. To register your number first, send REG, a space and the account number. After that, BILL alone is enough.
How to pay your KE bill online
- QR code: scan the QR code printed on your bill with your banking app.
- KE website: after “View Bill”, press “Proceed to Payment” and choose credit or debit card, bank transfer, Raast or a JazzCash mobile account.
- KE Live: open “My Billing” and tap “Pay Now”.
- Bank apps and wallets: KE lists most banks’ internet and mobile banking, 1BILL, Easypaisa and JazzCash. Choose K-Electric and enter the 13-digit account number.
- In person: bank branches, ATMs and post offices also accept KE bills.
If you need a wallet first, see how to open an Easypaisa account or a JazzCash account. Keep the confirmation SMS or email until the payment shows on your next bill.
How KE bills differ from other companies
K-Electric is a private company that generates, transmits and distributes power itself. It serves Karachi, Dhabeji and Gharo in Sindh, and Uthal, Vinder and Bela in Balochistan. The other distribution companies share the PITC billing system, which is explained on our online bill check page. More Karachi guides are in our K-Electric bill section, and gas is billed separately by SSGC (see SSGC duplicate bill).
| Point | K-Electric | LESCO, PESCO and others |
|---|---|---|
| Bill number | 13-digit account number | 14-digit reference number |
| Duplicate bill | KE website, KE Live, WhatsApp | PITC bill pages |
| Billing system | KE’s own | PITC, a government IT company |
A KE bill has its own layout too:
- Amount Due is the total for this month. Previous Due shows unpaid arrears.
- Billing Charge Mode tells you whether the bill is based on an actual reading (Normal) or on another basis (Average, Detection or Adjustment).
- Electricity Charges is the cost of the power you used. Taxes and Duties are government charges that KE collects and passes on. The bill can also list MUCT, a municipal charge for KMC.
- The usage history covers 13 months, and the back of the bill carries a snapshot of your meter.
As of October 2026, KE’s bill guide says the late payment surcharge is 5% if you pay within three days after the due date and 10% after that.
K-Electric bill calculator: estimate your units
Use the calculator below to estimate your units and bill from your meter readings or appliance use.
Electricity bill estimator
Units not known yet? Add each appliance you run:
Estimate only. It uses the base residential tariff notified in February 2026 (S.R.O. 279(I)/2026) and 18% sales tax. Fuel price adjustment, quarterly adjustment, surcharges, electricity duty and income tax change from month to month and are not included, so your real bill will be different. Always go by the bill issued by your company.
The figure is an estimate. Your real KE bill also includes adjustments, taxes and duties.
How to register a KE billing complaint
- Check the reading, Billing Charge Mode and units on the bill against your own meter.
- Lodge the complaint on KE WhatsApp, in KE Live, by calling 118 or (021) 99000, or by email to [email protected]. By SMS, registered users can send CHAT, a space and the message to 8119.
- Give your 13-digit account number and keep the complaint number.
- To speak to someone in person, visit one of KE’s 22 Customer Experience Centres. They open Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (prayer break 1:00 to 3:00 pm) and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
- If KE does not resolve it, you can register a complaint with NEPRA, the power regulator, on its website.
Problems and fixes
- Account number not accepted: count 13 digits, keep any zero at the start, and do not use the consumer or contract number.
- No OTP in KE Live: wait 60 seconds and tap resend.
- Need a bill older than six months: the app and WhatsApp stop at six months, so ask KE on 118 or at a centre.
- Bill looks estimated: look at the Billing Charge Mode. If it is not Normal, ask KE why.
