Areas LESCO serves
LESCO covers five districts of central Punjab: Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. If your bill carries another company’s name, such as GEPCO, FESCO or MEPCO, use that company’s page from our online bill check list.
LESCO bill check online: step by step
- Open bill.pitc.com.pk/lescobill. PITC is the Power Information Technology Company, which runs the billing system and also publishes LESCO’s apps.
- Select how you want to search: reference number or Customer ID.
- Enter the number using digits only, then press the search button.
- The latest bill opens with your name, address, units, due date and the amount payable.
- Read the bill month first. If it still shows last month, the new bill has not been uploaded yet, so check again in a few days.
For everything else, such as news, load management and office details, LESCO’s own website is lesco.gov.pk. The Power Division lists it as the company’s official site.
Reference number and Customer ID on a LESCO bill
The reference number sits in the top part of the bill next to “Reference No”. It has 14 digits printed in groups and ends with a letter, like 12 34567 8901234 U. Enter the digits without gaps and skip the letter.
The Customer ID is a separate 7-digit number in the same area. Either number opens the same bill, and neither changes from month to month.
If you have lost every bill, an old bank or wallet payment receipt usually shows the reference number.
How to download a LESCO duplicate bill
- Open your bill with the steps above.
- Use the print option on the bill page, or your browser’s Print menu.
- Choose “Save as PDF” to keep it on your phone, or send it to a printer.
The LESCO Light app gives the same copy: tap Billing Information, enter the reference number and choose Get Duplicate Bill. If the paper bill never reaches your home, the Power Division advises taking the bill online and reporting non-delivery on the complaint system.
LESCO online bill in the official apps
- LESCO Light (Android and iPhone, by PITC): bill details with amount due, due date, the amount after the due date and 12 months of payment history. It also has the load management schedule, complaints and new connection requests.
- LESCO Smart (Android, by PITC): a second consumer app from the same publisher, updated in July 2026.
- Power Smart: the Power Division’s app for sending your own meter reading photo and asking for a due date extension or instalments.
Install only the versions published by PITC. Many lookalike “bill checker” apps exist, and none of them is needed.
LESCO helpline, SMS and complaint options
- Call 118: the power sector contact centre for supply faults and billing complaints.
- SMS 8118: the complaint SMS number listed with 118 on the official complaint system.
- LESCO Light: tap Lodge Complaints, pick the category, add your reference number and contact details, and submit. You get a tracking ID in the app and by SMS.
- Online: the Customer Complaint Management System at ccms.pitc.com.pk.
- In person: your sub-division office (SDO) or a LESCO customer services centre.
We could not confirm an official LESCO WhatsApp number, or any SMS code that sends your bill, so be careful with numbers shared on social media. No official channel asks for your bank PIN or OTP.
How to pay a LESCO bill online
- Bank app: go to bill payment, choose electricity, select LESCO and enter the 14-digit reference number.
- Easypaisa: LESCO is on the Bill Payments list. Easypaisa says the service is free for customers.
- JazzCash: Bill Payments, then electricity, then the biller and reference number, confirmed with your MPIN. JazzCash says standard service charges apply.
Match the consumer name and amount before you confirm, and keep the receipt until the next bill shows the payment. Our Easypaisa vs JazzCash comparison covers the two wallets.
How to read your LESCO bill
- Units consumed: present reading minus previous reading.
- Tariff: homes are billed under A-1. If you stayed at 200 units or less for six months running you are a protected consumer with lower rates. Above that you are unprotected.
- Slab: rates rise in steps as units rise, so a few extra units near a slab limit can change the whole bill.
- Fixed charges: charged per kW of sanctioned load since February 2026, whatever your units. Lifeline consumers are exempt.
- FPA and quarterly adjustment: fuel and cost adjustments approved by NEPRA. They can raise or lower the bill.
- Taxes: GST, electricity duty and a per-unit surcharge are listed separately.
The current per-unit rates are in the slab table of our online bill check guide and in the notifications on NEPRA’s LESCO tariff page.
LESCO bill calculator
Use this calculator to estimate your units and cost from meter readings or appliance use.
Electricity bill estimator
Units not known yet? Add each appliance you run:
Estimate only. It uses the base residential tariff notified in February 2026 (S.R.O. 279(I)/2026) and 18% sales tax. Fuel price adjustment, quarterly adjustment, surcharges, electricity duty and income tax change from month to month and are not included, so your real bill will be different. Always go by the bill issued by your company.
It gives an estimate only, because FPA, adjustments and taxes change each month. The LESCO Light app has its own bill calculator, which PITC also describes as approximate.
Bill correction and common problems
- Wrong meter reading: photograph your meter, compare it with the present reading on the bill, and take both to the sub-division office or customer services centre. These offices can correct a wrong bill.
- “No record found”: you typed the letter or spaces, or the number belongs to another company.
- Estimated bill on a faulty meter: ask the sub-division to replace the meter and review the estimate.
- Cannot pay in full: request a due date extension or instalments through Power Smart or at the sub-division before the due date.
- LESCO does not resolve it: complain to the regulator on the NEPRA complaint form. NEPRA asks you to approach the SDO or XEN first. Its Lahore office number is +92 42 99203483.
