Karachi Board Result 2026: BIEK and BSEK Result by Roll Number
Karachi has two separate boards, so first check which one is yours. The BIEK (Board of Intermediate Education Karachi) runs the 11th and 12th class exams, known as HSC Part I and Part II. The BSEK (Board of Secondary Education Karachi) runs the 9th and 10th class matric exams. BIEK posts its results as gazettes on biek.edu.pk, while BSEK has a seat number search on bsek.edu.pk.
As of 12 October 2026, every BIEK class 12 group has been declared and the class 11 pre-engineering result came out on 2 October. On the matric side, BSEK has declared both class 10 groups and the class 9 general group, while the class 9 science result is still awaited.

In the Part II pre-engineering group, 18,014 candidates appeared and 9,922 passed, a pass rate of 55.08%, as reported by Dawn. In the Part I pre-engineering result, 14,683 candidates appeared and 6,310 passed all six papers, according to the board’s controller of examinations.
The Part I result uses the new grading policy agreed through the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC). A candidate scoring below 40% in any paper is marked ungraded in that paper and has to reappear in it.

How to check your BIEK result by roll number
- Open www.biek.edu.pk and go to Result Declaration (or Recent Result Declaration).
- Find your class (Part I or Part II) and group, then open its gazette PDF.
- Use Find in page (Ctrl+F on a computer) and type your seat number.
- Note your grade and keep a screenshot until your college receives the mark sheet.
You can also install the BIEK Android app from the link on the board’s homepage and check your result there.
How to check your BSEK matric result
- Open www.bsek.edu.pk and choose Results (Quick Result).
- Select the academic year 2026, your group and the exam type (annual or supplementary).
- Type your roll number and press Find Result.
- If the search is busy, open the Result Gazette PDF on the same page and search for your seat number.
In October 2026 the online search covers the latest result, the class 9 general group (regular and private). BSEK says hard copies reach schools within 10 to 15 working days of a result.
Is there a BIEK or BSEK SMS code?
Neither Karachi board lists an SMS short code on its official website. Several news and result sites tell students to send the board name and roll number to 8583, but we could not confirm this with either board. Treat any SMS reply as unofficial and confirm the result on the website or gazette.
Mark sheets, admit cards and second annual exams
- BSEK mark sheets: class 10 science mark sheets were handed to school representatives from 11 August 2026, area by area. A notice on issuing class 9 general mark sheets followed on 7 October 2026.
- BIEK documents: forms for duplicate admit cards and other services are on biek.edu.pk. Fees can be paid at UBL branches or TCS outlets in Karachi.
- Second annual exams: BSEK posted its 2nd Annual Exam Form 2026 notice on 18 August and a revised date notice on 8 September. Check the Examinations page for the current schedule.
Scrutiny of papers
Both boards use the term scrutiny for rechecking. BIEK keeps a scrutiny form on its homepage, and the BSEK result page has an Apply for Scrutiny link. The fee and last date are given in each board’s notice after a result, so check them before you pay. Scrutiny usually covers missed answers and totalling errors rather than a full re-marking.
Calculate your percentage
Divide your obtained marks by the total marks and multiply by 100, or use the calculator below.
Marks percentage and grade calculator
The grade shown is a guide. Boards are moving from the older scale to the new 10-grade scale step by step, so the grade printed on your result card is the one that counts.
Class 10 and class 12 results in 2026 still use the older Sindh scale: A1 for 80% and above, A for 70% to 79%, B for 60% to 69%, C for 50% to 59%, D for 40% to 49% and E for 33% to 39%.
Problems and fixes
- Fake BSEK websites: BSEK says its only official site is www.bsek.edu.pk and its only official Facebook page is the one linked from that site. It has named bsek.com and bsek.com.pk as not affiliated.
- Your group is not listed yet: results come group by group, so a missing gazette usually means that group has not been declared.
- Seat number not found: make sure you opened the right part, group and regular or private file. Then contact your college or the board.
Students outside Karachi should use the Sindh board result hub or the BISE Hyderabad result guide. PK Portals is an independent guide and is not linked to BIEK, BSEK or the Government of Sindh.
