Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme 2026: Eligibility, Prizes and Draw Date
The Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme is a free prize draw for families in Pakistan who receive money from relatives abroad through banks. It was launched on 25 September 2026 by the banking industry under the patronage of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and it gives away Rs4 billion in cash prizes every quarter, including a first prize of Rs100 million (Rs10 crore). There is no form to fill and no ticket to buy: if your account receives at least USD 100 from abroad in each month of a quarter, entries are created for you automatically.
The first qualifying quarter is October to December 2026, and the first draw is on 15 January 2027. This guide explains who qualifies, how entries are counted, the full prize list, the draw schedule and how to check results, using the SBP announcement and the official 1LINK scheme page.
PK Portals is an independent information site and is not linked to SBP, the Pakistan Banks Association, 1LINK or any bank. The scheme is completely free, so never pay anyone to register or to claim a prize.

What is the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme?
Pasban is a reward programme designed to pull more home remittances into formal banking channels instead of hundi or hawala. Banks pay for the prizes themselves. According to the SBP press release, the scheme builds on the remitter incentive that banks have funded since July 2026, and the industry’s combined annual commitment to remittance incentives is close to Rs100 billion.
One point that many people get wrong: the prize goes to the beneficiary in Pakistan, the person whose account receives the money, not to the relative who sends it from abroad. So if your son in Riyadh or your brother in Manchester sends money to your bank account every month, it is your account that collects the entries and your account that is credited if you win.

Who is eligible for the Pasban scheme?
You get entries in a quarter if all of these conditions are met:
- The money is a home remittance from abroad sent through a formal channel, such as a bank, exchange company or licensed money transfer operator, and it is processed by a participating bank.
- The money is credited directly into an account. This must be a personal Pakistani Rupee account (single or joint) held by individuals, and it must be open and active. The 1LINK FAQ says branchless banking wallets such as SadaPay or NayaPay and microfinance bank accounts are also included.
- The account receives at least USD 100 in each of three consecutive months within the same quarter. For the first draw, that means October, November and December 2026.
- Remittances in other currencies, such as riyal, dirham or pound, count by their US dollar value.
Who is not eligible
- Cash collected over the counter (cash pickup) instead of being credited to an account
- Roshan Digital Accounts and foreign currency accounts
- Company, firm or trust accounts
- Remittances that are reversed, cancelled, returned or disputed
- Money sent through hundi, hawala or any other informal channel
- Staff, officers and directors of participating banks, PBA, 1LINK and SBP
- Closed, frozen, blocked or dormant accounts
Also note that one person (identified by CNIC) can win only one prize per draw, and the 1LINK FAQ warns that splitting one transfer into many small ones to create more entries may be treated as ineligible.
How entries are counted
Each eligible remittance of USD 100 or more creates digital entry numbers in your account. Bigger remittances earn more entries, and there is no upper limit. The 1LINK FAQ gives the following bands:
| Value of one remittance | Entries earned |
|---|---|
| Below USD 100 | None |
| USD 100 to 149 | 1 |
| USD 150 to 249 | 2 |
| USD 250 to 349 | 3 |
| Each further USD 100 | 1 more entry |
The SBP press release explains it more simply as one entry for every USD 100. Its own example: if a family receives USD 100 in October, USD 200 in November and USD 300 in December, it earns 1, 2 and 3 entries, a total of 6 entries for the January draw.
The three-month rule is strict. If the same family receives USD 500 in October and USD 500 in December but nothing in November, it does not qualify for that quarter at all, because the months are not consecutive. To be safe, ask your relative to send at least one transfer of USD 100 or more every single month.
- Entries are only confirmed when the quarter ends, so they stay provisional until then.
- Your bank or wallet will normally notify you of your entry numbers by SMS, app or email.
- Entries are valid only for that quarter’s draw. They cannot be transferred, sold or cashed.
Pasban prize list: Rs4 billion every quarter
| Prize | Amount per winner | Number of winners | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| First prize | Rs100 million (Rs10 crore) | 1 | Rs100 million |
| Second prize | Rs25 million (Rs2.5 crore) | 20 | Rs500 million |
| Third prize | Rs10 million (Rs1 crore) | 100 | Rs1 billion |
| Fourth prize | Rs1 million (Rs10 lakh) | 2,400 | Rs2.4 billion |
| Total per quarter | 2,521 | Rs4 billion |
With four draws a year, the scheme distributes Rs16 billion to more than 10,000 families. Prizes are paid in Pakistani Rupees directly into the winning account, after any tax that applies is deducted at source.
How prizes are shared by region
The first prize is open to everyone, wherever the remittance came from. The other prizes are divided between the regions that send money to Pakistan, so families receiving money from every part of the world have a fair chance:
| Region the remittance comes from | Share of prizes |
|---|---|
| GCC (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain) | 50% |
| United Kingdom | 15% |
| Europe | 15% |
| North America (USA and Canada) | 10% |
| Other countries | 10% |
Pasban draw dates and schedule
Draws are held every quarter, ordinarily on the 15th of the month after the quarter ends. Only the first date has been announced so far; the others follow the pattern given in the 1LINK FAQ.
| Quarter | Remittances received in | Draw date |
|---|---|---|
| 1st draw | 1 October to 31 December 2026 | 15 January 2027 (announced) |
| 2nd draw | January to March 2027 | Expected April 2027 |
| 3rd draw | April to June 2027 | Expected July 2027 |
| 4th draw | July to September 2027 | Expected October 2027 |
The draw is run digitally by 1LINK using a random, algorithm-based process that is independently audited.
How to take part: step by step
- Ask your relative abroad to send money through a bank, exchange company or licensed money transfer app, not through hundi or hawala.
- Make sure the money is credited into your own personal bank account or wallet. Do not choose cash pickup.
- Receive at least USD 100 (or the equivalent in riyal, dirham, pound or any currency) in each month of the quarter. For the first draw, that is October, November and December 2026.
- Keep the SMS or app messages your bank sends with your entry numbers.
- Check the results on 15 January 2027 on the official 1LINK page or through your bank.
- If you win, your bank will contact you, verify your identity and the remittances, and then credit the prize to your account.
How to check Pasban draw results
Results are announced on the day of each draw on the official 1LINK Pasban Rewards page, through participating banks and in the media. The published list shows winning entry numbers only, without names or account details, so match it against the entry numbers your bank sent you.
You do not need to apply to claim a prize. If your account is selected, your own bank will contact you through the phone number and address registered on your account. Winners are provisional until the bank completes its checks, and a prize that cannot be verified or claimed can be passed to an alternate winner.
Participating banks
The 1LINK scheme page lists 27 participating banks:

Beware of Pasban prize scams
Big prize schemes always attract fraudsters. Remember these rules:
- There is no registration for Pasban. Any website, WhatsApp link or form asking you to “register for Pasban” is fake.
- There is no fee of any kind. Anyone asking for money to register, claim or release a prize is a fraudster.
- Banks never ask for your PIN, password or one-time code (OTP). Never share them with a caller, even one who says you have won.
- Only your own bank will contact you about a prize. If you get a call, hang up and call your bank’s official helpline from the number on your card or the bank’s website.
Complaints and helpline
- For questions about your entries or a prize, contact your own bank or wallet provider first.
- If your bank does not resolve the issue, you can escalate it to the State Bank of Pakistan through its SBP Sunwai complaint portal or to the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan.
- 1LINK helpline: 021-111-115-465 (UAN 111-11-1LINK).
