QESCO Bill Online: Check Duplicate Bill and Payment
The quickest way to see your QESCO bill is the official PITC web bill page, bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill. Type the 14-digit reference number or the Customer ID from an old bill, press Search, and the current month’s bill opens. You can print it or save it as a PDF duplicate for free.
QESCO, the Quetta Electric Supply Company, supplies electricity across most of Balochistan, from Quetta and Pishin to Zhob, Sibi, Naseerabad, Khuzdar and Turbat. This guide explains the bill check, duplicate bill, payment options and complaint channels. PK Portals is an independent information site and is not linked to QESCO, PITC or the Government of Pakistan.
Enter your reference number in the box below to open your bill on the official page.

Areas covered by QESCO
QESCO has the largest service area of any power company in Pakistan, because it covers nearly the whole of Balochistan. Its districts include Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, Zhob, Sherani, Musakhel, Loralai, Barkhan, Kohlu, Ziarat, Sibi, Bolan (Kachhi), Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Chagai, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech (Turbat) and Awaran.
The Hub and Lasbela area next to Karachi gets its electricity mainly from K-Electric, which has a separate KE duplicate bill system. If your bill shows another company name, find the right page on our online bill check list.
QESCO bill check online: step by step
- Open bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill on your phone or computer. The page is run by PITC, the Power Information Technology Company, and its Visit Us link points to the QESCO website.
- Select Reference No or Customer ID.
- Enter the number in digits only. With a reference number, pick U or R from the small list to match the letter printed after the number on your bill.
- Tap Search. Your name, address, bill month, units, due date and amount payable appear on screen.
- Confirm the bill month. If the new bill is not ready, the page shows the last one, so check again after a few days.
If the QESCO website does not open on your device, go straight to the PITC page above. It is the official source of the bill for every government power company.
Finding your reference number and Customer ID
Both numbers are printed in the upper part of every QESCO bill. The reference number has 14 digits and ends with a letter. Write the digits without spaces and choose the letter from the drop-down on the bill page.
The Customer ID is a separate number that opens the same bill. Neither number changes each month. If you have no bill at hand, check an old payment receipt from your bank or wallet, or ask the QESCO sub-division office that serves your area.
How to download a QESCO duplicate bill
- Open your bill on the PITC page.
- Press the print button on the bill, or use Print from the browser menu.
- Choose Save as PDF to keep a copy, or print it on paper.
- Check that the barcode and amounts are clear if you plan to pay at a bank.
If your paper bill arrives late or goes missing, the online copy has the same details, so you do not need to wait for delivery to pay on time. Report repeated non-delivery as a complaint so your address can be corrected.
QESCO LIGHT app
PITC publishes an Android app called QESCO LIGHT. According to its Google Play listing, it shows billing details and load management information and lets you lodge and track complaints. The listing shows the app was last updated in April 2022, so if it does not work on your phone, use the web bill page instead.
How to pay your QESCO bill
- Banking app: Bill Payment, then Electricity, then QESCO. Enter the 14-digit reference number and confirm.
- Easypaisa or JazzCash: open Bill Payment, choose Electricity and select QESCO, then enter the reference number.
- Bank branch: pay over the counter with the paper or printed bill.
Pay by the due date, because the bill also shows a higher amount payable after that date. Always match the consumer name on the payment screen and keep the receipt or transaction ID. Our Easypaisa vs JazzCash guide compares the two wallets.
QESCO complaint number and helpline
- 118: the PITC contact centre for supply faults and billing complaints.
- 8118: SMS number for complaints, listed on the official complaint system.
- ccms.pitc.com.pk: the online Customer Complaint Management System, where you can register and follow a complaint. Email: [email protected].
- QESCO LIGHT app: complaint lodging and tracking inside the app.
- Sub-division office: bring your bill and CNIC for meter or billing corrections.
Note the complaint number you receive. If the problem is not solved, PITC’s complaint page explains how to escalate it in writing, and NEPRA also accepts consumer complaints against power companies.
How to read a QESCO bill
- Previous and present reading: the difference between them is the number of units you are charged for.
- Tariff category: homes, shops, industry and agricultural tubewells are billed under different NEPRA tariffs. Household rates rise in slabs.
- FPA and quarterly adjustment: cost changes approved by NEPRA that can add to or reduce the bill.
- Government charges: GST, electricity duty and other levies appear as separate lines.
- Arrears: any unpaid amount from earlier months is added to the total.
If a line on your bill looks wrong, raise it before the due date. The sub-division office can correct a wrong reading or tariff, and raising it early gives staff time to issue a corrected bill.
QESCO bill calculator
Use the calculator below to estimate units and the bill amount from your meter readings or appliance use.
Electricity bill estimator
Units not known yet? Add each appliance you run:
Estimate only. It uses the base residential tariff notified in February 2026 (S.R.O. 279(I)/2026) and 18% sales tax. Fuel price adjustment, quarterly adjustment, surcharges, electricity duty and income tax change from month to month and are not included, so your real bill will be different. Always go by the bill issued by your company.
The answer is an estimate. Fuel price adjustments, quarterly adjustments and taxes change each month, so the bill on the PITC page is the amount you actually pay. The slab system is explained in our electricity bill guide.
Problems and fixes
- Bill not found: remove spaces, leave out the letter and check the U or R choice. Make sure the bill is a QESCO bill and not K-Electric or SEPCO.
- Old bill shown: the new bill has not been uploaded yet. Try again in a few days.
- Reading looks wrong: photograph your meter with the date and take it to the sub-division office before the due date.
- Payment not shown: posting can take a few working days. If it is still missing on the next bill, complain on 118 with your receipt.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I check my QESCO bill online?
Go to bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill, select reference number or Customer ID, type the number from an old bill and press Search. The current bill appears and can be printed.
Can I get a QESCO duplicate bill without a reference number?
The online page needs either the reference number or the Customer ID. Without them, use an old payment receipt or ask your QESCO sub-division office for the number.
Does QESCO supply all of Balochistan?
Almost all of it. The Hub and Lasbela area near Karachi is supplied mainly by K-Electric, so homes there receive a KE bill instead.
What is the QESCO complaint number?
Call 118 or send an SMS to 8118. You can also lodge a complaint online at ccms.pitc.com.pk or through the QESCO LIGHT app.
Is the online QESCO bill accepted at banks?
Yes, banks normally accept a clear printout because it has the same reference number and barcode as the original. Paying through a bank app or wallet needs no printout at all.
