HSSC Annual-II 2026Admissions announced by several boards in early October 2026

In KP, the 11th and 12th class results for the first annual exam were announced on the same day by each board in 2026. If you passed the 12th class, you can now collect your DMC and apply for admissions. If you failed a subject or want better marks, the Annual-II exam is your next chance.

How to check your KPK board result by roll number

  1. Find your roll number on your roll number slip. Your school or college can also tell you.
  2. Open your board’s official website from the table above.
  3. Click Results and pick the exam, for example SSC Annual-I 2026 or HSSC Annual-I 2026. Some boards also ask you to choose the class, year and session.
  4. Type your roll number and press the search or submit button.
  5. Check your name, father’s name, subject marks, total and grade, then take a screenshot or print the page.

The result pages of Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad and Swat search by roll number only, not by name. If you have lost your roll number, ask your institution or download your roll number slip again from the board’s portal.

Is there an SMS code for KPK board results?

No KP board lists an official SMS result code on its website as of October 2026. This is different from the Punjab boards, which publish their own codes, such as 800291 for the BISE Lahore result.

Some websites quote short codes such as 9818 or 8583 for KP results, but the numbers change from one source to another and the boards have not confirmed them. If you try one, check the charge before sending, and treat any reply as unofficial until you see the same marks on the board website.

Result gazette, DMC and e-DMC

Most KP boards release a result gazette, a long PDF listing every roll number with marks or remarks. Open it on a computer, press Ctrl + F and type your roll number. Schools use the gazette to check the whole class at once. BISE Mardan sells the printed gazette or CD for Rs 500.

The online result is provisional. Your Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) is the official record. Regular students usually receive it through their school or college, while private candidates collect it from their exam centre or the board office. BISE Abbottabad also lets students download an e-DMC from its result page.

Grading and passing marks

You need at least 33% in each subject to pass. The grading scale below was published by BISE Abbottabad for 2026. Check your own DMC for the exact bands your board uses.

GradePercentage
A180% and above
A70% to 79%
B60% to 69%
C50% to 59%
D40% to 49%
E33% to 39%
FBelow 33%

The grade shown is a guide. Boards are moving from the older scale to the new 10-grade scale step by step, so the grade printed on your result card is the one that counts.

2026 results at a glance

Figures released by the boards and reported in the press show how the 2026 SSC Annual-I exam went in four of the boards.

BoardReported pass rateTop score
Peshawar70.15% in 10th class (95,496 appeared)1,182 (Science)
Mardan85.32% overall1,171 (Science)
Abbottabad80% in 10th class1,167 (Science)
Swat78.82% (46,484 appeared)1,161

In the HSSC exam, BISE Swat reported a 65.12% pass rate, with 21,183 of 32,531 candidates passing. Girls took the top positions in several boards this year.

Re-totaling and paper show

KP boards offer re-totaling rather than full re-marking. The board recounts the marks on your answer book and checks that no answer was left unmarked. Some boards also allow a show of paper, where you can see your answer book on a set date.

The windows are short. In 2026, BISE Peshawar issued its SSC re-totaling notice on 5 August and its HSSC notice on 22 September, Mardan took SSC applications from 13 to 27 August, and Abbottabad and Swat issued HSSC notices in late September. Read your board’s notification for the fee and last date before you pay.

SSC Annual-II 2026 exams postponed

The SSC Annual-II exam is the second chance for students who failed or want to improve their marks. In 2026, BISE Peshawar first moved the papers of 7 to 10 October. The exams were then set to start on 12 October, but on 11 and 12 October all eight KP boards suspended them until further orders, citing the emergency situation in the province.

The boards say a revised date sheet will follow. Keep your roll number slip safe and watch your board’s website for the new date sheet. Meanwhile, HSSC Annual-II admissions are open at several boards, and Mardan’s last date with the normal fee is 20 October 2026.

Problems and fixes

  • Website not opening: traffic is heavy in the first hours after a result. Try again later in the evening or check the gazette.
  • Result shows RL (result late) or is withheld: this usually means a fee, document or unfair means case is pending. Contact your institution or the board’s exam section.
  • Spelling mistake in name or date of birth: apply for correction at the board with your documents. Do not wait until university admissions.
  • Calls offering to increase marks: these are scams. Boards do not change marks through phone calls or agents.
