Maryam Nawaz Schemes 2026: Punjab Government Programmes and How to Apply
A Maryam Nawaz scheme is any of the Punjab government programmes launched under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif since 2024. In October 2026 the main ones still running are Apni Chhat Apna Ghar housing loans, the Green Tractor Programme, the Kissan Card, Himmat Card, Asaan Karobar Card, Honhaar scholarships and the CM laptop scheme. This guide lists each one with its official portal, helpline and current status.
Every scheme has its own rules, and most require a valid CNIC, a mobile SIM registered in your own name and, for welfare schemes, a record in the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER). PK Portals is an independent information site and is not linked to the Government of Punjab.

When we checked the portal in October 2026, it showed 219,061 loans disbursed and 126,050 houses completed. The portal also offers a rebate for early repayment: 20% of the outstanding principal if repaid within 1 to 3 years, and 10% within 4 to 6 years.

- Registered in NSER or PSER with a PMT score of 60 or less.
- Sole owner of a plot of up to 5 marla in a city or up to 10 marla in a village.
- No criminal record and not a loan defaulter.
In August 2026, The Express Tribune reported that some approved applicants in Vehari were still waiting for their first instalment, so call 0800-09100 if your case is stuck after approval.
Green Tractor Programme and Kissan Card
On 23 September 2026 the Chief Minister launched Phase IV of the Green Tractor Programme through digital balloting. It covers 10,000 tractors of 50 to 65 horsepower with a subsidy of Rs750,000 each. The application portal for Phase V, which covers 9,500 tractors of 75 to 125 horsepower with a Rs1 million subsidy, was opened at the same time. Farmers need at least five acres, and applications are checked through the Punjab Land Records Authority and NADRA.
The Kissan Card gives small farmers interest-free credit to buy seed, fertiliser and pesticide from registered dealers. At launch, the limit was Rs30,000 per acre and up to Rs150,000 per season, for farmers with up to 12.5 acres recorded with the Punjab Land Records Authority. The Agriculture Department now lists Phase III of the card. Later phases have changed some terms, so confirm your limit on 0800-17000.
- Make sure your mobile SIM is registered in your own name.
- Send an SMS to 8070 in this format: pkc, a space, then your CNIC number.
- Wait for verification of your land record and the SMS reply.
- Collect the card from the Bank of Punjab when you are told it is ready, and repay on time to stay eligible for the next season.
Himmat Card and Asaan Karobar Card
The CM Himmat Card pays Rs10,500 every quarter to persons with disabilities who cannot work. More than 100,000 people benefited in 2025-26, with 30% of places reserved for women, and Rs5 billion is allocated for 2026-27. You can check verification on the Social Welfare Department page or call 1312.
The Asaan Karobar Card is an interest-free revolving credit line of up to Rs1 million for small businesses in Punjab. Applicants must be 21 to 57 years old with a clean credit history. There is a non-refundable processing fee of Rs500, and the annual card fee is taken from the approved limit. Apply online through akc.punjab.gov.pk or call 1786 for help.
Honhaar Scholarship and CM Laptop Scheme
The Honhaar Scholarship pays full tuition fees for undergraduate students in selected disciplines. In the last announced cycle, applicants needed a Punjab domicile and a family income below Rs300,000 a month. New cycles open each academic year on the Honhaar portal.
The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme gives laptops to first and second semester BS students with a Punjab domicile and at least 65% marks in intermediate (55% for non-Muslim students). Students who already received a laptop under any government scheme are not eligible. Registration for the 2026 round closed in April 2026 after an extension, so watch the official portal for merit lists and the next round.
Solar panels and Ramzan relief
The CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme offered up to 100,000 free solar systems to domestic consumers using up to 200 units a month, based on June 2024 bills. Registration was through cmsolarscheme.punjab.gov.pk or by sending your bill reference number and CNIC to 8800, and it closed in January 2025. No new registration round was listed on the official page when we checked.
The Nigehban Ramzan package is seasonal support for poor families selected through the PSER survey. The 2026 round ran during Ramzan, and a new round, if announced, would come before Ramzan 2027. For fuel relief, see our separate petrol subsidy guide.
Rehmat Card, Livestock Card, Parwaaz Card and Minority Card
The Rehmat Card gives Rs100,000 from the Zakat Fund to eligible widows and double-parent orphans, paid through JazzCash. Phase 1 covered about 50,000 people and Phase 2 is expected soon. Helpline: 1077.
The Livestock Card gives farmers an interest-free feed loan of Rs27,000 per animal. Phase 2 was launched on 14 October 2026 with Rs16.2 billion, and up to 25% of the loan can be withdrawn in cash. Helpline: 0800-09211.
The Parwaaz Card offers interest-free loans of Rs300,000 to Rs1 million for the visa, ticket and agent costs of an overseas job, through PSDF and the Bank of Punjab.
The Minority Card pays Rs10,500 every quarter to 75,000 low-income non-Muslim families with a PMT score of 45 or below. Register on mcard.punjab.gov.pk or call 1040.
How to apply for a Maryam Nawaz scheme
- Pick the scheme that fits you from the table above and read its eligibility rules.
- For welfare schemes, make sure your household is registered in PSER. Registration is done at PSER centres across Punjab.
- Open the official portal by typing the address yourself, then register with your CNIC and your own mobile number.
- Fill in the form, upload any documents asked for and note your application number.
- Track the result on the same portal or by SMS, and call the scheme helpline if you hear nothing.
Avoid fake scheme messages
Fraudsters often send WhatsApp messages and SMS that use the Chief Minister’s name and ask for a “registration fee”. Government portals end in punjab.gov.pk or another official .gov.pk address. Do not share OTP codes or bank PINs, and do not pay anyone to “approve” your application. Report fake calls to 1000.
Federal support such as BISP is separate from Punjab schemes. You can check it on our 8171 web portal guide and the latest BISP new payment update. For schemes in other provinces, see Benazir Hari Card for Sindh and our full list of government schemes in Pakistan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Maryam Nawaz scheme is open for applications now?
In October 2026, Green Tractor Phase V applications are open, and Apni Chhat Apna Ghar, the Kissan Card and the Asaan Karobar Card are running. Laptop and solar registrations are closed.
Is there a single portal for all Punjab schemes?
No. Each scheme has its own portal, listed in the table above. For complaints about any scheme, you can call the Maryam Ko Batayn helpline on 1000.
What is 8070 used for?
8070 is the SMS short code used to register for the CM Punjab Kissan Card. Send pkc, a space and your CNIC number from a SIM registered in your name.
Do I need to pay a fee to apply?
Most welfare schemes are free to apply. The Asaan Karobar Card charges a Rs500 processing fee through its own system. Anyone asking for money by phone or WhatsApp is not an official agent.
Can I apply for more than one scheme?
Yes, if you meet the rules of each scheme. Some schemes exclude people who already benefited, such as the laptop scheme for students who received a laptop before.
