AIOU Admissions, Result and CMS Portal 2026: Complete Guide
AIOU, the Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad, runs almost everything online: new students apply through the admission portal, continuing students enrol and see results on the CMS, and study material, workshops and assignments go through the Aaghi LMS. This guide explains each portal and where things stand in October 2026.
In short, the Autumn 2026 admission closing date (with late fee) was 6 October 2026. Spring 2026 final exams for distance learning programmes are running from 1 September to 31 October 2026, and in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the papers of 12 and 13 October have been moved to 2 and 3 November 2026. Spring 2026 results will come after the exams end.

AIOU CMS portal: login and uses
The Campus Management System (CMS) at enrollment.aiou.edu.pk is the student account for continuing students. It opens on a sign-in page that asks for your User ID and Password, with a Forgot Password link below.
- Course enrolment: continuing students register for the next semester’s courses here. AIOU’s CMS page has a video on the enrolment procedure.
- Results: the Results CMS link on the AIOU website opens this same portal.
- Exam centre change: since August 2026, requests for a change of exam centre are made through the Service Request Portal inside CMS.
- No login details: AIOU asks students who have not received their CMS credentials to call 051-111-112-468 or raise a request at support.aiou.edu.pk.
Only ever sign in on enrollment.aiou.edu.pk. Do not share your CMS password with agents or shopkeepers who offer to enrol you, because the same account shows your fee record and results.
Aaghi LMS and assignments
Aaghi is AIOU’s learning management system at aaghi.aiou.edu.pk. Its homepage has a current portal for Autumn 2026 and a previous portal for Spring 2026, Autumn 2025 and Spring 2025, each marked for ODL online workshops and assignment submission. There are separate portals for face-to-face programmes, short courses and international students, plus a Forgot LMS Password option.
- Download your assignment question papers from the Assignments page on aiou.edu.pk. Autumn 2026 papers are already posted for SSC, HSSC, bachelor, BS, B.Ed and postgraduate courses.
- Read the Instructions for Writing Assignments and attach the Assignment Covering Form, both linked on the same page.
- Check the Assignments Schedule page for your programme’s last dates.
- Submit through the Aaghi LMS portal for your semester, and join online workshops only through the workshop link for that day on Aaghi.
Spring 2026 exams, date sheet and admit cards
The Spring 2026 date sheet for open and certificate courses, SSC, HSSC, BS and postgraduate diploma programmes runs from Tuesday 1 September to Saturday 31 October 2026, with papers from 2pm to 5pm. Separate date sheets cover MS, MPhil and PhD face-to-face programmes and international students.
On 12 October 2026, AIOU’s Department of Examinations rescheduled the papers of 12 and 13 October at all exam centres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, except those of the Abbottabad regional campus (Hazara Division), citing the law-and-order situation. The new dates are 2 November and 3 November 2026. Admit cards already issued stay valid for the new dates, venues and timings. Exams elsewhere in the country continue as scheduled.
